About the Rule of Freedom
The Rule of Freedom is neither a right-wing rant nor a left-wing tirade. It is a reasoned discussion of government and the institutions of the state. Its author’s views are voluntaryist and anarchist because, after many years of studying political science, philosophy, economics and psychology, he feels that anarchy and voluntaryism make the most sense for anyone who wishes to advance freedom, justice, peace and prosperity. All those listening with open minds are welcome to the discussion.
This blog attempts to dispel some of the illusions we hold about democracy and government: that governments are or can be accountable to the people, that the police are there to protect us, that government is necessary to have a functioning market, and that we can reform it any time we need to. Moreover, it goes into detail on the anarchist alternative to government.
As this is largely not a news-driven blog, I suggest starting at the first post and working your way forward.
A book based on this blog, but more detailed and organised, is available on Amazon.
